01.About me
I'm Giovanni, a junior web developer based in Bristol. I recently retrained in tech through an AI-Augmented Full-Stack bootcamp, and since then, I've focused on continuous learning. There's always something new to dig into, whether that's a framework I haven't touched yet or just keeping up with how fast everything moves in this space.
I use AI to work smarter and move faster, but the thinking and decisions are mine. It's a tool in the box, not a shortcut.
Personally, I gravitate more towards backend work. I like the logic side of things, how to structure something well and how to get it running smoothly in production. That said, I enjoy full-stack too. There's something satisfying about building both sides and seeing it all come together.
I also studied Computer Generated Animation at uni, so I've got a bit of a creative background in the mix. It means I tend to think about problems differently, and I communicate well with all sorts of people.
What I'm working with right now: Python, Django, Wagtail, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Git & GitHub.
